Am I Suffering From Anemia?
Anemia in simple terms and how to overcome it.
Anaemia usually stems from a diet that lacks iron intake and most commonly appears in young children, pregnant women and females during their time of the month. It is a such a common factor that 50% of women will experience it during their pregnancy and at least 1 in 5 females will have it during their developing years. The extent to which iron deficiency can affect your life ranges from moderate-strong as its symptoms depend on your personal anaemic level. If you are suffering from severe anaemia then the most common symptoms you will experience are fatigue, lethargy (lack of energy), shortness of breath (dyspnoea), headache and hair-loss. The road to recovery from anaemia is fairly easy however if you don't follow the prescribed guidelines you could experience detrimental consequences. If you have insufficient iron levels in your blood you force your heart to work harder in order to transport oxygen to the different organs within the body. Placing your heart under so much stress could lead to serious cardiac problems and you must be especially cautious if you are pregnant. If you think you are experiencing some of the symptoms mentioned above please visit your doctor as soon as possible.
