Female Hair-loss
Visit your dermatologist to pin-point the root of your problem
It is said that 2/3 of women will at some point experience hair-loss however it is not to the same degree as men - baldness. Your therapy of choice will depend upon your age and the degree of hair-loss but in most cases, estrogen - in the form of the contraceptive pill is a common resort prescribed by many doctors. Being proactive at an earlier rather than a later stage will yield the best results however complete recovery is never possible. A correlation has been made between hair-loss and polycystic ovaries in women.

Some of the most common factors triggering hair-loss are; illness, stress, hormone fluctuations and medication side-effects. The most important step to take if you think you are experiencing hair-loss, is to visit a dermatologist who will pin-point the route of the problem so that you can make the appropriate changes and modification to your lifestyle.
