Hand-ling With Care!
How come your hands appear to be aging faster than the rest of your body?
As your hands are the only part of the body that is rarely covered, their continuous exposure to the sun and the elements cause dehydration. The first tell-tale signs of aging will appear gradually over the years as the elasticity of the skin tissue decreases. Aged hands usually consist of loose and weak skin with brown-tinted age spots. No need to fear yet ladies as these signs usually appear after the age of 40 where uneven distributions of melanin create the appearance of dark age-spots.
Furthermore, don't let the winter season fool you! Hands also suffer during the winter as they produce less sebum therefore having a higher propensity to dryness and dehydration.Constant changes in temperature; the dry air of heated rooms and the cold and damp weather of the outdoors, cause intense dehydration. The side effects are mainly redness and peeling.
Always remember to take precautionary measures to minimizes the side effects of aging skin. Invest in a good sun block and enjoy the results 10 years later!
