Herb Omelette
A basic omelette that lets you play around and be creative

Aside from being an excellent nutrition source, eggs are a diet-favorite because they can be cooked in different ways-boiled, scrambled or poached. In addition, they also combine well with laods of ingredients especially in the revolutionary omelette! We'll give you instruction for a basic omelette and anything else you want to add is up to you.

INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
seasoning to suit
A good handful of fresh torn herbs
1 teaspoon olive oil 
1 teaspoon butter
PREPARATION
Beat the eggs with the seasoning. Heat the oil in a 6 -7 inch pan and then add the butter, when the butter is melted add the eggs and immediately start moving the egg about so that the liquid from the centre of the omelette spreads out evenly.
This should take about one minute. Throw in the herbs and then flip the omelette over itself so that is becomes a half circle. Gently remove the omelette from the pan to serve. There are many different types of filling that you can put in an omelette – grated cheese or feta cubes, cherry tomatoes halved, cooked mushrooms, onion, courgette and so on....
