Okra with feta cheese is a typical Greek dish. Cooking it can get tricky, because the secret for okra is to be soft but not melted. This recipe hit the spot as it is simple but tasty and healthy.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 kilo okra, fresh or frozen
100 g feta cheese
2 large tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, chopped
parsley, chopped
salt
pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup water
PREPARATION
Wash the okra, trim the cone shaped tops and drain. Put water and olive oil in a frying pan. Add okra, onion, parsley and cook for about 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook on low heat about 25 minutes adding water if necessary. Add feta cheese and and cook for an extra 5 minutes. Your traditional Greek okra plate is ready!
